Durham CAN

Durham Congregations, Associations and Neighborhoods

Durham CAN (Durham Communities and Neighborhoods) is a broad-based, non-profit organization that works to coalesce, train, and organize communities in Durham across religious, racial, ethnic, class, and geographic lines for the public good. Its primary goal is to develop local leadership and organized power to change the conditions that prevent low- and moderate-income families from improving their circumstances.

See upcoming events and read Durham CAN's 2018 report for highlights of its activities and achievements last year.

Holy Cross is a member of Durham CAN. Ava Thompson, director of the Holy Cross Peace, Justice and Human Concerns Commission, is the parish's lead contact and provides updates here.
