Lent Begins: Stations of the Cross and KC's Fried Fish Dinners

Holy Cross Stations of the CrossLent Begins 

Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on February 26 this year. Holy Cross will again be walking and praying the Stations of the Cross every Friday during Lent, starting at 7 PM. All are welcome to pray and reflect together, in the sanctuary.


Knights of Columbus Fish Fry Dinners

The local Knights of Columbus are serving their Lenten Fried Fish dinners every Friday during Lent, 4:30-7:00 PM. They will be at Holy Cross on Friday, March 6.

The eat-in or carry out meal includes fried catfish, French fries, homemade coleslaw and mac & cheese, hush puppies, lemonade and iced tea, and assorted desserts, for $10 a plate. They are accepting cash, VISA and MasterCard as payment.

They also will be serving at two other Durham Catholic Churches:

  • Holy Infant: February 28, March 20 and March 27
  • Immaculate Conception: March 13 and April 3.
