Mercy Opportunity at Families Moving Forward

Help Provide Dinner for Families Moving Forward | March 22, 5 PM

Holy Cross is scheduled to provide dinner for guest families at Families Moving Forward on Wednesday, March 22. Volunteers are needed to serve guest families and clean up after the meal. Volunteers must be 18 years or older and not enrolled in a Durham Charter or Public School. Families Moving Forward provides temporary housing, case management and connection to community resources to help parents and their children in the crisis of homelessness.

Volunteers' Arrival time: 5 PM | Serving & Clean-up: 5:30 - 7:00 PM

Location: 300 N. Queen Street, Durham

Durham CROP Hunger Walk

The annual Durham CROP Hunger Walk raises funds that help to fight hunger locally and globally. Participants ask friends and relatives to make a donation in the name of the person walking the path, which takes about two hours. They also can ask their employers to provide corporate support.
